I learned more about English through my long intermittent studies of French than I ever realized I hadn't known.
I'm still chuffed when I find something in French that amuses me only to discover it exists in English in almost --or even exactly--the same way.
In French I learned BAGS for adjectives. "Beauty, Age, Goodness, Size" that's the order the adjectives need to go in, and typically in French, these are the only sort of adjectives which go BEFORE the noun, while all others go after the noun. In English we always put the adjective first but we still stick to this order, AND I love how this poster breaks it down even more. It's so fun that we all do these things but never even think about it.
