Her legs are shorter than Pepper's, so she's lower to the floor. Her name came with her and it seems to suit her.

Every time I think we've turned another corner in cat detente, Pepper shows her dominance. Itty Bitty is very submissive, so it's working so far. They've actually chased each other around the house in play, but when Pepper is done, she turns, hisses and snarls. She's a grumpy old lady who's been the sole cat for 5 years, but I'm basically happy with how they are doing.

Hell, Jenny still does that and we've had her for years. She lets everyone know from Titan (who outweighs her by five pounds) to the kittens that she is the one in charge and they'd best remember that. As long as Itty Bitty is willing to play the submissive, you should be fine.

Good luck with your matchmaking ;) I may still try another cat, but not soon. Precious seems very content as the only feline here so I'm gonna go with it for now. How's the weather in NV?

The weather is fine; mid 50s or so. Everyone says this process takes time so I am giving it as much as possible. The bottom line is: I have fallen in love with IB and she is here to stay. Thankfully, it appears to be working out.
