It's almost midnight where I am and I am in disbelief.  I had thought that I would be able to sit at my computer today and write, something it seems I haven't been able to do lately because time keeps getting away from me.

It happened again today.  I awoke at approximately 6:15 this morning and watched the local news until 7 when I watched Good Morning, America.  A good friend called around 8 and we spoke for about 45 minutes.  I got up, made bacon in the oven and when it was done, made a sunny side up egg and had that with 2 slices.  I left the house to go to my aunt's so I could walk her dogs.  She had two and I take them one at a time for a half hour stroll.  They love it and it's great exercise for me.  Afterwards, I made two quick stops before returning home.  It was after 12:30!  Where did my morning go???  And the afternoon disappeared just as quickly.

It's true that the older you get, the faster time moves.  2017 is Sunday!  One day I'll wake up to discover I'm in Warp Drive.  Or Hyperspace.  Sheesh.

Same here. I have just three days left of my vacation and no idea where the time went. I got next to nothing done and seems like I worked really hard at it.

Look at it this way, for time to be going this fast, we must be having a helluva good time.

It does, doesn't it? Cats and dogs do seem to square, or even cube, the effect; and I believe there is much scientific research involving sticks and ping pong balls.

The same for me everyday. Strange indeed and disorienting. I never have done so little than since I am retired.

As I told my friends when I first retired: I'm busy all day. I have no idea what I'm doing, I only know it takes all day to do it. I guess that means I'm having a good time.

Now that more of my friends are retired, they tell me they completely understand what I mean. One told me he made breakfast and ate with his wife before she left for work and then he started doing things around the house. He heard her come home and wanted to know why she left work early. It was 7PM! He couldn't believe how fast his day went.
