Do you ever wonder why we buy them toys when boxes and all types of packing items. Right now I'm picking up packing peanuts from Rosie stealing them

I've decided I'm not spending anymore money on toys. It's boxes from now on, LOL.

Why is it that cats stick their noses up at cat toys, but love empty boxes, plastic straws, milk bottle rings and balls of aluminum foil, basically free stuff? I do have a few cat toys they love, though an empty box takes precedence, always.

Good to hear your kitties are getting along better. Told you so. ;D

Yes, you did! They do have a couple of toys they like, but that box and two others are the new favorites.

I had a cat once that went absolutely bananas over the little plastic pulltabs from orange juice containers. We'd find them in the toes of our shoes and all other manner of places. (We could, of course, never bring ourselves to throw them in the trash when we opened a juice. It would have broken her fuzzy little plastic-murdering heart.)

They can be quite painful when stepped on with bare feet. I'm amazed at how many milk rings I find under the fridge when I'm cleaning.

What a good kitty parent you are to order them a cardboard box!

Yay, new box! I currently have two that are part of the playtime arsenal. There's also a pile of the brown paper that was in one of them. Precious jumps into the box, then out of the box and into the crunchy sounding paper... back into the box. I don't have the heart to get rid of any of it.

Fortunately, neither one was interested in the paper.

OMG I would swear that was Minnie. It's amazing how an empty box becomes instant fun...or a bed for a cat.

How long did Itty Bitty stay in there, and where was Miss Pepper? did they take turns?

Neither one sleeps in it; they hop in and out. The longest I've seen one stay in there was less than two minutes.

I just posted some pictures of Pepper in the box. She finally did it when I could reach my camera.

Luna likes to lay in the boxes and go to sleep. She actually curled up in one about the size of a large shoe box like it was her little cave. She's stay in it all day, and sleep, or survey her 'domain.' lol.

Had to finally toss the box as it was just falling apart.
