I have reached a writing milestone!!

I just published my 200th story on ff.net!  I am so proud of myself; I wasn't sure I had ten stories in me when I first started and I certainly wasn't sure anyone would care what I had to say.  I have received such encouragement from all of you who have read my tales and/or made suggestions and offered constructive criticism.  Thank you so much for helping me realize a dream I harbored forever.  Now, if I could only get paid...

Rock on! That is great news! It's very good to have a goal in you are passionate about something.

As for the getting paid, it's nice, but being able to enjoy what you are writing without the burden of going through someone else's hoops is even better.

That said, aside from MFU, what would you like to write?

The Great American Novel, of course! I've been working on some short stories with original characters that I hope to one day be able to sell.

In terms of fanfic, I like Boston Legal and NCIS.

Fingers crossed for you! I know that Chef is working on one of his own and it is making him so excited and happy. The fact that it's a little boring (I'm not into war stories) isn't slowing him down.

Good luck and continued success. Take what people respond to the most in your fanfic and use that to your advantage. Lots of fanfic writers have gone on to be very successful novelists. I hope we will soon see your name amongst them!

Isn't it wonderful to be able to take thoughts and put it on paper so the rest of us can enjoy it! As for the amount - wow, but it goes to show that you have a great imagination. I'm sure there is another 200 in there somewhere. Congratulations are indeed in order and you have every right to be proud. Hurray!!!!!
