alynwa | Soooo, I Went to the DMV this Morning...

Because I had tried to pay my traffic ticket online and got the message it wasn't in the system yet. I got there at 8:05AM for an 8:30 opening and was 28th in line to enter the building. Fortunately, I was 3rd in line for the Traffic Violation Bureau Information Counter. A very nice man helped me. I was hoping the cop's bad handwriting might get the ticket discharged on a technicality, but no such luck.

I'm so glad I had decided to pay if I couldn't get it discharged because the man told me if I wanted to contest the ticket, my hearing date would have been December 7th! Uh, no, thank you. I'll be in Mexico.

So to sum up: I went to the casino and won $140, got pulled over and issued a ticket that cost $138. And got 2 points on my license though I'm not too concerned about that because, ticket aside, I'm really not a bad driver. Seriously. I'm not.
