I am a huge fan of the TV show, The Blacklist.  There are still a lot of unanswered questions, but what fascinates me the most is Red's relationships with his people, especially his relationship with Dembe, his "son."

This story pre-dates the series and though there is nothing explicit, you need to know that Dembe's early life as a child sex slave is mentioned.
