I found out today what Santa is bringing me for my Christmas present this year. I won't get it until the day after Christmas, though. A brand new shiny titanium knee. What, Joy!
The last time someone commented on my weight, they were actually telling me they thought I'd lost a few pounds, but it sort of shocked me. Felt really overly-personal. It was meant as a compliment, but, with how much I obsess about my weight, I would be happier if we could all just not pay so much attention to how much everyone else weighs.
So, I think number three is just a more particular case of number two. It's not cool to make remarks about someone's weight except in very rare circumstances ---best to just not.
