MY COMPUTER CRASHED!!!

I bought another one; I'm hoping I can download whatever files I had on my old one to this one via Norton.  Theoretically, that should work; however, when it comes to electronics, I can have the worst luck.  If I can't do it, I have to pay someone to attempt to retrieve them from the old one.  Until then, the only things lost that bother me are I had written a story for the QuoteMe Challenge that was finished and I had started the second chapter of my WIP, "Green Eyed Monsters."  Of course, the morning my laptop died was when I was going to upload to Google Drive.  Arrgggh!   So Cousins, please forgive me my late entries.

My sympathies. It's a good idea to have an small external hard drive component, or some flash drives for storing documents. I hope you can retrieve everything.

Please let your cousins know if there are any files you're missing. When my laptop crashed last year, Sparky graciously shared her story files with me. It simplified things immensely.

Oh no! Glad you were able to get a laptop so quickly. Yep google drive is the ticket. Hope you can remember/retrieve the HODOWE? Eeeek!

I had to let the techie at Norton do it remotely but I have everything back except the 2 or 3 paragraphs of the 2nd chapter of my Boston Legal story and I'm sure I remember the gist of it. Thanks for all the positive thinking!
