I love the Femmes! They were one of my first concerts. Colbert isn't half bad, and the drummer is playing a Hibachi. So cool.

I wasn't familiar with their music at all. I met Brian, the bass player, because he is married to a friend and former coworker. The first time I saw them play was at Irving Plaza in NYC. There I was, sitting in the VIP section with my friends and I was astounded that everyone (except me) knew every word to every song.
